In our media rich world we all can identify “Master Communicators”. However can you identify the formula that makes a person so influential? However for most, it is much easier to identify the fruit (impact) than it is to see the roots (method).

All Master Communicators use stories to reach their audience. Jesus used stories all the time and in every communication situation, public or private, from the rich to the poor and the religious to the worldly. He used them in small groups and one-on-one. Jesus used them to address massive crowds with great ethnic variety. In evaluating the gospels, it shows that almost 35% of the recorded words of Jesus included a story, parable, word picture, allegory, simile or metaphor.

In reaching others in an media saturated world it is important to use stories that touch the hearts, minds and spirits of others. Stories aren't just for children, they are a integral key to effective communication for business, love and life.
